I am a Canadian presently studying theoretical condensed matter physics at the graduate level in the US. I am primarily interested in understanding strongly correlated systems such as transition metal oxides. I also have a general interest in numerical and computational techniques. I also dabble in DJing and writing breaks and progressive house/trance with a friend of mine under the moniker Science and Reason. I also want to point out that this blog is not intended to be full of water tight arguments. It’s more of an informal way for me to write about my thoughts on various subjects and to help me cement my own standing on a number of issues. Please try to keep this in mind as you read.
